I've got the same problem very intermittent, but becoming more common. Is the ring antenna a dealer job, or can it be done DIY?
MAF is mass air flow meter, measures how much air the engine is consuming.

Took it to the dealer...charged me $80 cdn for the part plus half hour labour. The symptoms: car will not start sometimes...acts like it is not getting gas or spark...sometimes it starts up for about half a second and then dies...chip/transponder is cutting engine and then it wont start anymore...each time it did this I was able to eventually get it going by playing with ignition...sometimes 5 mins sometimes 1/2 hour...hope this helps
