Hey Guys,

Polar Arctic Blue happens to be my color choice, although as a second option it would probably be a toss up between nautic blue or perhaps venetian red, both are striking colors. That being said, I'd also love to see an XC in one of the shades of green referred to in the poll.

BTW, Taylor started polling members a while back relating to similar info on the XC. Wasn't too sure if some of the newer members had noticed it on the homepage.

Hi!

I realized that ash gold is a typical "american" color. I havn't seen an ash gold XC here in germany yet. And seeing this (and the old) poll, it's very popular.

Why ?
Ciao

Armin,

Is it just me or does it seem that most of Volvo's ad marketing that targets the XC has it displayed in the 'Ash Gold' color scheme, including many of their brochures? I'm wondering if this has something to do with the popularity of the color.

Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

After viewing Armin's pics, I almost forgot to put a plug in for Ocean Race Blue.

i used to be a, great fan of black/black metallic, however I have the feeling its extremely difficult to keep clean looking. Is that true alle those of you that has one, or is it just me?
I think it looks really cool in black, but maybe a lot of washing necessary?

Give me a hint?

I'd love to vote, but I don't see Nautic Blue on the menu...

Hey DanishXC Viking,

Personally I owned two Black/metallic Volvos and I love the colour. Unfortunately, black is very high maintenance. It only takes some rain and it ruin all the hard work you have done as it gets dirty very easily.Personally I wash my cars on a weekly basis to keep them looking sparkling clean. If you want low maintenance I would recommend silver or white. But Black really sets the new XC's off. Best colour I think (personal choice).

Thanks for your comment Leonberger. But i believe Marine blue palermo is what the Sweedes call the Nautic blue!
