Has anyone upgraded to the new version? What are the software improvements? I recall that the Volvo flyer said that one could program routes ahead of time. Does that mean you can now design your own route? Any other tidbits? Noticible increases to the POI database or search functions?

A few weeks ago I bought the latest maps and software.

It's a set of 3 DVD's (Europe), it used to be 1 DVD.

Mapversion is 2004/03!!!! (we are almost living in 2006); disappointing.

I can't find anything special in the new software.
You can select a demo of your trip (I don't know if that was possible in the previous version....).

Nothing found to program routes ahead of time.

I've paid EUR 295,--
