    I think you should eliminate the post count and member category altogether. To me it serves no benefit -- whether a member has posted 10 times or a 1000 times means what? The member name is all that really counts for recognition IMO.

    IMO you should keep those stats internally (if you need to) as showing them publically arouses some members.

    What about changing it in :
    50 posts senior
    100 p veteran
    200 p Xcer
    ??

    At this point, maybe we need to have additional user classifications for those that post 500, 1000, and 2000. &nbsp;While I tend to agree with Barry that it doesn&#39;t matter, I do think it helps in discussions to some degree. &nbsp;Its easy to tell if someone is a committed member of this community by how many posts they have.
