    Default Ta da! New dirt-proof upholstery!

    It took me almost 4 hrs but I did it! I removed the rear panel, placed/stuffed a nice piece of black vinyl over the carpeted upholstery, tightened it at the back with industrial strength double-sided tape, snapped the panel back on...

    Here's the result:

    Thanks! And it costs less than US$10 to get it done. Just some vinyl sheet from Spotlight and a couple of rolls of duct-tape for holding the back down. Ought to have used cobbler's glue but I didn't want to marr the insides/behind.
