    Default fuel pump

Car would not start properly and diagnosed as fuel pump.
Not sure if this is original fuel pump or not.
    Why does fuel pump fail?
Fix is replace with aftermarket pump and filter.

Actually, issue was the fuel pump relay?
    Why does that fail?

The good news is it was just a relay! Relays are electromechanical parts and they simply just fail sometimes. No particular reason other than age maybe heat if you live in a hot climate. Just happens.
