    Default Help identifying part

    Hello,

While working on my 2009 XC70 T6 yesterday, I noticed an exhaust bracket broken and rusted through. The heat shield on top of what I think is the catalytic converter is loose and rattling around. Can anyone help me identify the parts I would need to replace? Is this a DIY job for someone with slightly above average skills?

And what parts from the fiche would I need? https://www.volvooempartsdirect.com/...ust-components

    Thanks!!

If I'm seeing the photo correctly, a steel support bar has broken for one of the heavier exhaust components (cat or muffler).

If that's it, a simple fix would be to go to a muffler shop, and have the bar welded back together. It would be removed from the rubber hanger during the weld, then reinserted.
