    Default Heater Core pipe seperation

Replacing my heater core on my 2010 XC70 using ALLDATADIY, cant figure out how to remove the pipes from the core. ALLDATA is just pictures.

Here are a couple of pictures. Any hints would be appreciated.

    UPDATE:
used this tool to spin the clamp and pulled the clamp off the pipe. Pretty simple actually, I really over thought it!

Second picture the clamps, #1 in purple, need to be removed. Take note of the position of everything before you remove it.

Do you know if they twist, or are the spring loaded over the flange on the pipe? I will take a closer look tomorrow.
If you enlarge the 1st picture it looks as if there is a hook over the flange.

I have never had to do this job/remove the clamps. The o rings are going to do the sealing to prevent leaking coolant. I have worked on similar systems. The clamps are going to be there to prevent the heater core pipes from separating from the coolant hose pipes so they will clip together some how on the open ends.
