Default Broken Front Spring on 2006 XC70 with 4C

I understand that the springs are often different between models and model years, but are they also different between same year wagons that do or do not have the 4C struts? Any recommendations on aftermarket springs or are OEM from Volvo the way to go? Thanks in advance.

To order the correct springs (you want to replace them as a pair), you'll need the spring code that's in your VIN. Here is a good explanation on IPD's website - https://www.ipdusa.com/techtips/1001...oes-it-tell-me

I replaced mine w/ blue box Volvo springs when one of mine let go. I was looking to replace the rears (it's getting saggy in the back) and the choices are OEM or Lesjöfors. I saw mixed reviews on the Lesjöfors, mostly on fitment, so I decided to with Volvo again.

Thanks for the information. I have also seen Springs made by Bilstein advertised by Autoway Parts. Anybody used these?
