When you turn the key before trying to start the engine, do you then hear the fuel pump running?
If the car stalls while driving, perhaps the fuel pump relay fails. I think it is possible to swap it with
a relay that isn't critical.

I just scanned the car.
First off, the starting fume is really stinky. Don't know how to explain it, it's just nasty.
In the scans, any light issue would be from all the LEDs I put in the car (low voltage).
Every interior bulb now has LEDs. Any audio issue would be from not having connection
to the steering wheel controls after installing an after market stereo in the car.
Before I scanned, the car started for about ten seconds and turned off, then started this way:

I have a 10/27/19 scan and another one showed, I believe the current (11/19/19) scan.
I just did a simple scan. I was just cold for some reason, though I was well wrapped up.
My body was not just too tired to take the warm 31F, and I have been tired already. Being
a very busy day for me. So, all I did were initial scanning.
Fuel trim maxed out. O2 sensor out of range. Stinky exhaust. Doesn’t start or run right.
I think you’ve got a vacuum leak.
Cracked or mispositioned pipe or coupling between the MAF and the ETM.
Is it possible that the pipe to the ETM was damaged when that was replaced?
That’s where I would start.
A fine tooth comb. Flashlight. Mirror...
Here’s the intake pipe on my daughter’s BMW X3. Looked fine until I took it off. Ran poorly, though.

Your latest scan had a 261 fuel trim upper limit code. That means the O2 sensor thinks it's lean - the ECU will then fire the injectors longer to make up for what it thinks is a lean condition. Upper limit means it won't hold the injectors open any longer and the extra injector time is not curing the lean condition. Possible things that could cause that would be low fuel pressure, air leaks, or a bad O2 sensor. A bad O2 sensor generally will not make a car hard to start. The O2 sensor signal is usually ignored until it heats up. That takes 45-60 seconds. Cars will usually start with a very bad (front) O2 sensor.
Vida should have suggestions as to what to look at if you click on that code or look it up under information/fault tracing I think.
Your audio recording - if you are sure you got the air intake hoses all back on correctly - is it possible the car is almost out of gas? Many a car has been towed in out of gas or with a lying/bad gas gauge. (has fooled many a tech and me too when we forget to check the basics!) Or - your car has a saddle gas tank - if fuel is low enough, air can get pulled in from one side and create low fuel pressure/aerated fuel.
I would check fuel pressure and volume - try to pump fuel out into a container, making sure it's not full of air and has enough volume to run the car.

There is only an intank pump on this model, you can hear it with a stethoscope touching the top of it. Most 940's had a fuel pump mounted under the drivers seat you could easily hear as well as an intank pump.
There is a fuel pump relay in a 01 xc70 however, located on the CEM - 2/23 on the attached picture
