Hi all. I just ran fixd on my car and it tells me "Ambient pressure sensor learned value error" Could someone please tell me what that means. For the record where I live emissions test not required.
"P1171 MINI Possible Causes
Faulty Ambient Pressure Sensor
Ambient Pressure Sensor harness is open or shorted
Ambient Pressure Sensor circuit poor electrical connection"

Thanks but I'm just as wise as I was before.
Wait ----- the "FIXD" website says for $59 plus shipping and handling -
'Say Goodbye to Unclear Check Engine Lights
No more vague lights or confusing technical definitions. Just the information that you need to know in simple, understandable terms, right on your smartphone".
According to FIXD they are the only info you need!
Ok - is the check engine light off and the car starts and runs normally? If yes to both just ignore it. Or erase it and see if it comes back. (can FIXD erase codes?)
For reference you could have bought an illegal copy of VIDA (the factory diagnostic software) with a cloned dice unit for less that $80. Probably just a few dollars more than your $59 plus shipping and handling.
