Mobil 1 European Car Formula 0W-40. (Mobil 1 FS) Walmart carries it.
Shell Helix Ultra 0W-40 is another. I've gotten that at Walmart too, when they were out of Mobil 1, though didn't see it there the last time.

+1 Mobil 1 0-W40. 202k miles and I burn around a qt every 5-6kmiles. My view is I want to get oil to those Turbocharger bearings as quickly as possible no matter what the season....2007, XC 70

Yhey, I go 0-40 too (but Shell Helix) for same reason.
I almost made the switch to M1 EF 0W-40 vs factory recommended M1 5W-30.
If you look around, most of the European cars (especially with turbos) are running M1 EF 0W-40 and this also has the special Porsche seal of approval.
IMO either way would be fine... The more I think about it, the more convinced I am to switch to M1 EF the next oil service.
I use the Mobil 1 0W40 in Volvos. Works great.

I talked a lot about oil in a previous thread on this forum.

TL;DR
Use an oil that is designed for a long drain interval. It must meet ACEA specs and it should be synthetic. I recommended Mobil 1 0w40 back then, too...

Lots of oil test here that are pretty interesting to watch -

Consider Walmart SuperTech and Amazon Basics
I've read more than I care to remember on the Land Rover forums about all of this and these tests make things quite interesting.
