2015.5 Tail light replacement

Wife backed into a mailbox and broke tail light

never simple

removed the 3, 10mm nuts on back of light - wont come out

researched and found that bumper and fender cladding need to be removed

undid torx screws suggested but not easy come off - I dont want to force and break tabs or whatever -

any advice??

Had to replace LHS tail light on my 2008 MY09 a while ago.

Unfortunately I don't have any pics or anything but it was just a matter of
gently unclipping the mouldings.

I seem to remember having to use some double sided tape when re-installing to close a gap I wasn't completely happy with.

Not sure if that helps as I don't know if the 2015s are built the same way.

I think a 2008 XC is different from 2015
