Just picked up my new car

Forgot to mention how surprised I was at the number of Volvos in Goteborg. I probably shouldn't have since so many work for Volvo but coming from Calif where you rarely see an XC70. Every second car was an XC70, also many XC90s which I have never seen on the road here.

On the way back to the airport, we talked with our cab driver about how Volvos seemed much more common than Saabs - I don't know if he was biased, but he seemed to suggest that Saabs were widely viewed as somewhat lesser cars. Almost all the cabs in Gothenburg seemed to be V70 wagons...

Well, I just checked weather conditions in Western Sweden and Norway. It does seem that it may start off being nice but then turns very cold with snow in the making      Maybe I get to check out how the XC70 does in varying weather conditions

Barry,
We were actually hoping for some snow but my friend who is used to driving in snow and ice in his Jeep Cherokee really liked the way the XC handled the icey roads of Norway. Felt no slippage whatsoever.  Have you found out yet when you leave?

Yes I love the red color (almost burgundy). But it was so beautiful when I picked it up and so dirty when I brought it back, I can&#39;t wait to see it all cleaned up again.
