You can't answer your own question Unless no one is listening....
Anyway- The FDC staff is fully aware and is scheduling for the rush. The are "ready for it" - direct quote and do not think there will be any issues or unexpected delays so long as you KEEP your scheduled appointment date and time.
As for air, so long as the tickets have not been issued, you can change. If the tickets have been issued, they can only be changed on YOUR DIME! Same for the hotel issues- if you change it, you pay. If Volvo has to change for some unseen reason, then I am sure that they will be quite accomadating. The idea though is that there are not more deliveries scheduled than they can handle. I am sure that they plan for times like this.
Is it any surprise with the deals they offered that people did not take them up on it? 300 over 50 days is really not that many.... that being said, if you spend the whole day asking questions and memorizing the layout of the FDC center and factory tour, they are liable to get a little behind.
