Installing cd changer

Is the 03/04 xc70 pre wired for the cd changer. I'm suspecting that the dealer has his song book open..... claiming that the wiring has to be run.....

My understanding is that all current Volvo models are pre-wired for the 6-CD and 10-CD changers. On the wagons the changer is installed inside one of the rear-most side panels cavities, and a new side panel that bulges out a little is placed over the unit.
