I'm curious to know how much time a customer is allotted during the delivery process. Is it a fixed amount of time or do they simply provide as much time as the customer requires?
Is there a waiting line (I assume so) and therefore there could be pressure from the FDC staff to move things along.
I know I'll have tons of questions and I'm apt to simply chat at length about the car and all of its features in the hope of gleaning as much knowledge from the FDC person.
I've gone thru new car delivery at my local dealership several times over the years and it does take time.
I will expect the FDC staff to be far more knowledgeable about the XC70 than say my local sales person here in USA. Simply due to this I will be asking more questions etc.
In general, how much time should one expect the FDC person to devote to the actual customer pickup process and Q&A time?
As I've ordered the Volvo Nav System I would expect that could chew up quite a bit of time going over. For others that have picked up cars at FDC and have had Nav System installed just how much time was devoted going over the Nav System features? Alexandra has indicated they can loan me a DVD map disc for Sweden so I'll certainly be able to explore using the Nav System after FDC completes and during my tour about before drop-off time.
How do others who haven't experienced OSD before feel about the FDC pickup time allottment? What are your expectations?
Thanks in advance.
