New forum software update

For those of you who saw my previous message about migrating to the new forums, I've decided to hold off for a short while so please resume posting to this Ikonboard forum!!!

The new forums are available for BETA TESTING at http://xc70.com/forums/ and I'd really appreciate any feedback you can provide.

I hope to have all the bugs worked out of the system by the end of the week, as of right now including:

1. Text formatting in sigs isn't working.
2. Avatars are showing up too large.

Unfortunately the new forum software will not support file attachments. This means that files uploaded in the past will not be displayed in your posts, nor will we be able to upload files with our future posts. I've done this in order to:

1. I'm trying to minimize bandwidth usage
2. Would like to keep all related photos organized in the photo galleries instead of spread across two locations.

Hence, if you want to add a photo to your post, from now on, please upload to the Photo Galleries, then link to them in your posts using the [img ] photo's url [/img ]. Be sure to keep all photo submissions Volvo Cross Country related and optimized in order to conserve hard disk space.

Please post any further comments or bugs you find here in this thread.
