    Default Trim detailing products?

Detailing my 2006 XC70. I have tried several plastic bumper/ trim products and they have a short lifetime (like, until it rains!). What is THE product to use on my plastic exterior trim/ bumpers?

I personally use Mothers Protectant, though Mothers Back-to-Black seems more popular here, at least I think it's gotten more mentions over the years. Back-to-Black is intended to restore and protect oxidized/faded trim, Protectant works fine for me though to keep trim looking good for several months.

Aerospace 303, follow label directions scrupulously for best results. It lasts for me a very long time.

If it's black - TrimKote - its a dye and will last a very long time.
They sell their own protectant for it as well.
My bumper cladding was a blueish color. Used this to dye it all black over a year ago and still looks great.
Search YouTube as well for some demo vids.

I used "Wipe New" purchased on Amazon. You'll need two packages to do all the cladding. It's held up well for two years. About time to apply it again. Nothing I've tried has held up this well, and it preserves the original color.

I used a Simoniz product on my brown cladding (body colour Ash Gold) and it lasted about a year. IIRC, I wrote a post on it here.

EDIT: Here's my post on that product with before and after photos: http://www.volvoxc.com/forums/showth...hlight=simoniz
