I just purchased (yesterday) a 2010 XC70 from the original owner with 120K miles. He gave me a THICK folder with all this maintainance stuff.....The timing kit is probably a no brainer and I made an appt with the local Volvo dealer and he quoted me $1100...is that about standard? And, with 120K should I maybe just go to a euro specialist shops or for this work have the dealer do it?

Also, I bought the car (3.2) in LA and drove it back to Vegas....at 75mph+, I did feel some vibration in the steering wheel but the car did not pull. Could that maybe be a ball joint or I should not worry? (not sure how good the local dealer is..)

Lastly, at this stage of mileage, anything else I should keep a lookout for? Is there a big tranny service that should be done?

After several Subaru Outbacks, this car feels and drives wonderful.
