    Just noticed this. What would be the better way to fix it, JB Weld?
    JB Weld would not reach the end areas.

    I think you need an adhesive that is somewhat flexible. There are auto body adhesives available. Do you have a store locally that specializes in auto paint and supplies?

    Oh yeah, I believe Anchorage must be the "body-shop capital of the US". The shops get very busy all summer just from the winter crashes. Yep, we have a handful of auto paint and supplies. I might already have something in my stash at home. Will visit a shop and see if I already have what they suggest or have something similar.

    Silicone glue, any automotive store carries it
