Howdy and greetings
My car with approx 230,000 is starting to “wiggle” slightly when I accelerate..... under normal driving no problems..
Any ideas?

Yes you have an axle problem. Probably the inner joint on the right side is bad. Or the outer joint on a cheap replacement is bad.

You might want to post in the 01-07 xc70 forum, you will get more responses - and people have been discussing the various brands of axles (in that forum) for years, with quality ranging from crappy chinese new axles to Volvo branded axles.
