Default leaking PS pump - no rebuild kit available?

My 2005 XC70 is getting a leak from the PS pump. It is a Bosch ZF pump. I looked everywhere and only see rebuilds costing around $300. Is this the only option? Why is there no rebuild kit available for this pump?

I would buy a used one from Erie VoVo. About $65. Lifetime warranty.

They don't fail often, you certain that it's not a hose?

Thx, Astro! Unfortunately it's not the hose. Kind of curious why this model has no rebuild kit available. Maybe very few of them fail and there is no market for a rebuild kit ...|

Try your local recycle yard, yanked a perfectly good one with no evidence of leaks during a pick and pull Saturday morning, quite cheap, seems P2's are becoming more common in foreign section of most yards, and they don't ask the prices that specialized yards demand.

Corteco 01026329B is what you need to stop the leak.

Use a blowtorch to heat up the bolt if it's not moving. Taking lock ring out can be a tricky at first time. Make sure the halves of pump are put together in exactly same orientation.

    Thanks, vtl!

Not sure how easy it is to get this part since google search doesn't show any hits from north america.

Clean the area thoroughly. Fill up the PS pump, and then track the leak.

I've ordered many things from ebay.uk, it is often shows on my porch quicker than from FCP, which is only 1 hour away.

Don't see a reason of getting a used pump, they all develop a leak. My brand new ZF pump that I've got 2 years ago is already leaking...
