    Default Heating...winter is here!

My heating is not working currently; can anyone provide any advice?

Is it likely to be a heat exchange or thermostat issue?

If it's a thermostat issue you should notice your temperature gauge not reaching normal levels.

    Have you checked coolant level?

My heater core clogged up after about 9 years - I ordered the Behr part from FCP and replaced it myself - problem solved. Not very difficult.

I convinced myself it was the core by feeling the two heater hoses when the engine was warmed up - they should be about the same temperature - mine were not.
