Hello,

New member here, been reading about Volvos for past month or so. Was looking into a VW wagon as I own a GTI but decided to branch out. Previously owned a Subaru as well. Considered an Outback. Anyhow I've settled on a V70 or XC70. XC70 will be nice as I live in Northern Ohio so added ground clearance and AWD will be nice in the winter. V70 would be more than adequate as well but they seem harder to find for my budget/condition. I'm also willing to travel and have a very broad list of vehicles that I've winnowed down to four. They all have good service histories, in fact the one in Virginia I called the Volvo dealer and the service guy said the previous owner serviced it religiously and basically spared no expense on maintenance...OTHER than the Tbelt which hasnt been changed. I'm leaning toward the Silver XC70 in Georgia as it appears to be the cleanest and also has a good service history according to the dealer and carfax. I tried several area dealers around Atlanta for more information on this car but most service people were less than helpful and one refused to provide any information other than to the previous owner. Anyhow any insight from you all based on what you can learn from the Internet about these vehicles would be appreciated. I'm always a mild enthusiast with all my vehicles so I will do what I can to be useful once I own one of these things.

Also I've searched Craigslist and Cars.com and the like, there are some nice V70Rs and a few V70s but as I said for my budget condition they're no go, I'd prefer a southern car thats as clean as possible.
