    Thanks for the info. Do you think I should flush as much as I can before replacing the hoses? Do you think I need to replace the radiator too?

    If costs are an issue replace the hoses later - Look inside the upper hose - usually there is a layer of goo - an oily mess that will damage the hoses from the inside out. It is very difficult to get the oil out of the cooling system, it will keep floating to the top (at the cap) for months - even after flushing multiple times, using cooling system cleaners, replacing hoses, etc.. Just soak up the oil blob under the cap with a rag or paper towel.

    You may eventually replace the reservoir and cap - the rubber seal on the cap will get pickled. -

    Only replace the radiator if it is leaking.

    When you change your oil, this the cooler is about 8 inches away from the drain plug on the passenger side.
