I have 2001 V70X/C with 204k miles on it. I did a "Gibbons" transmission fluid change at 174k. Recently I have had some some issues with the automatic transmission. It would get some strange noise like it wasn't engaging properly. Then I got a "Transmission Service Urgent". I have a Chinese knock off VIDA/DICE. When I hooked up the DICE the error code I got was "TCM-002C Gear 5 incorrect gear value".
I am fully prepared to do the Valve body replacement/rebuild or pull the Transmission and have it rebuilt.
Before doing would a fluid change and do an adapt mode on the transmission be something to do first?
