Default 2000 v70xc used throttle body no programing working for a month

Ok wanted to share. I had my wife tell me the car was running bad and lights going crazy on the dash. She checked the codes and reset the tps code. Yes I keep a scanner in the now 303 thousand mile car. Anyway the car made it home and on a test drive with me it quit for good. Pulled the throttle body to check it out and it was tight and hard to move the butterfly. My local parts manager at volvo advised me to try the used tb I had snagged from a junk yard. Same yellow sticker as mine and same part number and service number. Seems if you remove it from a car with same year etc as I did and same numbers on the tag no programming is needed. Also upon changing it I found my 12 volt power supply to the tb was bad from the draw on the old unit. I replaced the wire to the fuse and the car has never ran so well and never started so good since I bought it 10 years ago with 40k on it. Hope this helps someone.
