Default faulty passenger low beam fixed

    Hi Gang,
I did some work on our daughters 2001 XC. Her right low beam hasn't worked for a while so she said.
They replaced the bulb and still no go. So I checked the fuses and then checked the bulb all good. I tested the voltage at the push on connectors and got battery voltage, all good. Then I found that the push on connectors were burnt so I cleaned them with a scots brite pad and bent them a little with needle nose pliers.
Tested it before I put it back and now she has all her lights are nice and bright.

We bought a new set of tires for her birthday today.
It sounds like her rear wheel bearings are bad, a project for another day
    cheers

If I am not mistaken, the connectors are known to become brittle and fall apart from heat/age.
It may be agood idea to apply some lubricant to the mating surfaces since these connectors
also have a reputation for being very difficult to remove.
Since you sanded the surfaces, perhaps a lubricant can also avoid corrosion.
