MAF readings to high

Hi, last month when i did a repro on my 2001 xc, after a highway test, the guy told me that my MAF was "tired".. being so i bought a new one at MAF CENTER -original Bosch-. After install it wasn't noticeable any mayor different, a large roar when at wot..and a lower figures at the CB -about 1.8-2.2L-.

Yesterday, in a trip to the North i decided do see how much would it go with the old MAF.. 210-215km/h ( i was spectating more, i must say), i maintained that speed for about 20kms. when i reach my destiny and fill up i had made a average of 12.2-13.6L ( 43-48L in 351 kms ) - since my car is running with LPG the final amount of gas varies from one pump to another by varies reasons, pressure, temperature,..
With the new one it makes 13.4 452 kms -61L at constant speed of about 120-130km/h

After reading MAF values with the obd scanner, it had a difference at idle 14 kg old to 16 kg new .

Does any one have ever had Maf Problem with out being died to new ?
