    I just wanna to update this thread for future references. My exhaust leak was caused by loose bolts at exhaust manifold studs. I had about 3 or 4 that I could loosen by hand.
    It was not really an easy job but I got it done in the end. Don't know why Volvo uses such special spring bolts that I couldn't find them from auto/hardwares stores. Ended up getting the closest fit 5/16x2-1/2" bolts (needed to add 4-5 washers) and 5/16x1-1/2 bolts (same size with OEM). I replaced them because the long spring bolt was bent. I'm not sure if I got the right size but it was very tough to work them in. They took too much of my time and effort. I'm just happy that I didn't break any bolt this time
