    Default XC70 '04 Battery & Shock Abs

    Hi forum, any recommendations for either OEM or other replacement battery for my 2004?
    Separately, same question for replacement shock absorbers cost and installation ballpark as mine appear to have given up!

    I suggest placing the biggest battery that will fit.

    2007 V70 2.5T White/Oak, 112K miles. My daily driver and GORGEOUS
    2000 V70R wife's. Won't sell, now at 148K miles !! and still (almost) perfect.
    2000 S70 GLT SE with 29,000 miles!!! A time capsule, V70R front bumper, Volans, etc. SOLD!!! (I Will regret selling this!)

    I was going to replace my battery with a OPTIMA battery just because it's in side the car

    Battery - Walmart ~$120

    Strurts - SACHS... but if struts are shot you are likely going to be replacing the whole front suspension. Which includes spring mounts and seats, control arms, ball joints, tie rods etc. ~$700-$900 parts.

    For my MY04, I was looking at these: SENSEN 92140095 http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/more...856&cc=1427385
    It's a complete strut assembly with coil springs, etc. included.
