Help my fading memory ...

I recall that one of the forum members had an XC70 approaching the half-million mileage milestone ... but I cannot recall who it was and whether that milestone was finally reached, but I do remember that we all "rooted" for that achievement.

What was the outcome?

I guess more importantly, were there some "secrets" that we should take cognizance of to "prolong" the life of our cars ... e.g. special preventative measures that we should follow?
