    Default Windshield moulding part #?

I need help with part number in trying to identify this moulding on the side of the windshield, note how the rubber has deteriorated.

    Thanks!

Looks like they are prepainted, whats your paint code?

Ouch - list price on item 21 code 189 is $124.

Thanks for the diagram Hoonk. Dear lord those things are expensive! And it looks like they come replete with plastic trim piece... which I don't need... just the rubber drip edge.

I'm going to see if/how those trim pieces come off and try to fabricate something myself. Nothing to lose.

I contacted Tasca and based on information I could only describe in writing (their online "send us a message" contact point did not allow me to attach picture) they replied in kind with two part numbers's.

However, I am hesitant to order until they review the pics I've sent them. $9.88 sounds a heck of lot more feasible than $124! I am assuming they are just the rubber portion of the drip molding... I await clarification.

I forget, I think they're part of the strips.
I'm putting new strips on my car next week, they're horrifically expensive and not made anymore.
You find what's left in stock.
If they are, (I'll know when I open the box ), you're welcome to my old ones but you will need to paint them, (they're white).

This might be an better option for you. I plan on trying this on my 2003 which has a very similar issue to yours. http://www.volvoxc.com/forums/showth...ght=Windshield

OK so they don't have just the weatherstrip... it was the drip molding they mean to sell for a reduced cost of $100 each. :-/

I'm goin to rehab the weatherstrip myself, and will post up but it will have to wait as I'm getting ready for final test at nursing school.
