Default Delay for transmission to get into gear

Hello. Occasionally my 2002 Volvo XC 70 pauses to go into gear when I shift into drive. I checked the Trans oil when the engine was warm and running and it appears to be in the correct level.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Search the forum for transmission problems. Lots of information on your symptom. Usually valve body/ solenoid related.

Let me guess, happens more often when the car is warmed up? Gets better for a while after you change the fluid?
