    Default XC70 missing awd badge.

Just picked up a xc70 d5 se lux geartronic,

But it doesn't have a AWD badge? Is this normal?

    Many thanks

Are you sure it's supposed to be an AWD?

Looks to me like that's a front wheel drive version.

Is it New or S/hand? (The car that is.)
If S/hand then the previous owner might have said they didn't want it on if it was a factory order, so it was never fitted.

Thanks for this, the car is indeed second-hand so maybe it wasn't requested.
Its just that I do want a car with AWD, as I do deliveries and when it snows I want to get through where possible.
Did Volvo make any Non AWD xc70?
Is there other signs in the car that would show it is a AWD?

    Cheers

    Good idea.

I think I can see one. It is next to the exhaust , but higher mounted. Looks about three inches across and come back to a unit between the two rear wheels, which i guess is a dif box.

You should also see a Drive Shaft (About 1 to 1.5 Inch Diameter) going out to each rear wheel in the centre, which would not be there if it was only a 2WD.
