Default WTB: 18's, preferably with good tires

Since I'm keeping my ride I've decided to deck it out a bit. I'd like to go +1. Looking primarily for Atlantis wheels and tires, but I would be open to anything as long as it is not too Fast and Furious. Would also consider just wheels. I have a set of 17" Oreanders that I might trade for something or sell after I find the 18's I want.

I am also willing to travel a bit. I'm located in the DC/NoVA area.

    Thanks,

    Dave

    You may not want to.
I've never been real happy with my 255/35/17s, they feel too large for the suspension.
I feel as if I'm riding on top of the car instead of in it
(Height is correct, they're just a much wider 17 than what you have.... and feel it)

I might have to forego this altogether since I'm rapidly losing air out of one of my already plugged tires. If I do I'm thinking 245/45/17 or so.

That sounds like a good size for an 18"
    Forget the 245/45/17s
It will look like a goofy R with about a 4" wheel gap (not a good idea)/

Unless you plan to lower it, you need a taller tire
Stick with the stock 17" size, it works well and install a pair of ipd sway bars instead

I also so this old post that made me wonder about filling up that gap with 255/50/17 :

I have 18" and very happy with them.
I would keep your 17" and put dedicated winter tires on and find a set of 18" for summer tires.
My wheels are not for sale but read this for good info and pics:
