    Default 2002 XC-70 sunroof after radio instal

    I was wondering if the cause of my SR not closing is due to aftermarket radio installation. Anyone have this issue? Can anyone help with ideas? I have replaced dome light assy with known good one, no change. Checked the fuses, done the key in the door and fob thing, no changed. Pulled negative terminal on battery, no change.

    Here's a diagram of the control unit bus system - note the audio module (factory radio) is not in series with anything so you should be able to disconnect it with no problems. (unlike the climate module which if disconnected with the key on sets srs codes because the srs module is after the ccm in series). Note the sunroof module is in series after the uem (the rear view mirror). If you disconnect the inside rear view mirror with the sunroof open, the sunroof can become unresponsive. If you have tried resetting by neg terminal removal, and cycling the key in the door locks - have you tried calibrating the sunroof module with the following procedure?

    did you also replace the rear view mirror along with the dome light?
