Default Reste SRS Light Without The VIDA Software?

Can the SRS Airbag Service Urgent light be reset with the DIVA tool without first installing the software?
Still in the process of installing the software to a compatible PC but need to reset the dash SRS light.
I have both the 2012a and 2013a installation disks.

You need VIDA installed on your PC, without that the DiCE module is useless. All data and setting manipulations are performed in VIDA.

Srs light can also be reset with some generic scan tools. The Snap on Modus tool I use in the shop can do it.

Sure the "Snap on Modus" would work but all I have are the "regular" OBD2 (Gerneral autos) and the VIDA/VICE (Volvo) tools.
