Sunday road trip

It was a nice day Sunday and I was down with a pulled back muscle (the heated comfortable seats can do wonders) and bored so did the pin the map and went on a short road trip west of Calgary to a small farming community called Rockyford. So the dogs were forced into the car and off we went (Da Boss was busy).
Posting the pictures to try out Flickr as a picture hosting service to see if it does any better than Photo bucket.

Flickr is not bad. The upload to them is of course a bit different than Photo Bucket.

You need to go through their editing process which is basically setting the public private stuff. I didn't do that the first time I tried and found that the pictures had not actually loaded.That is only needed once per set (double click the photo to go to manual slide show and the small square on the lower right is the link access) so that you can get the BBcode to link to the image.
That was fairly painless and you can choose the image size. Part of the user agreement apparently is their need to have the text blurb under each photo. That is something that I can live with for 1 TB of free image hosting. Once you have loaded a set of pictures and know the ins and outs I think that it will be completely painless.


I think that I will try adding miscellaneous photo in here for a while to just play with Flickr a bit more.

We have been on numerous roads in Europe with not another soul on.
Not even a wild animal was seen let alone a vehicle or person.

Not sure I like the view of the Flick'r link below each picture.
But I like the thought of the 1TB of storage space!

Do you by any chance know if you are limited to an album or 'folder' size, or are all pictures in one bucket?
