Can't really know until you install a new (or rebuilt) propshaft.
You don't have a "front" propshaft, you have a propshaft (period)
"BUT,,, front drive-shaft was out.
Drive shaft looks new (not new new), center bearing looks fresh no cracks. I grabbed the front and rear u-joints and really tried to make them...
Installed rear shaft and drove around - perfect."
How could something that runs front to rear be a front xxxx (anything) and in one paragraph you gave it three (3) different names
