    Default Sirius for non-prepped vehicle?

I know that I have brought this topic up before, but ... I didn't really get the info I need:
Sirius radio. My car 2009 xc70 is NOT prepped for Sirius. I do NOT want to use the plug and play (I am now, and it's unsightly). How would I go about wiring for Sirius in my car? Is it just that the cable for the Sirius is not connected (there is NO cable under the rear panel), and I need to bring a cable from the head to the rear, then to an antenna? OR...is the HU not compatible? If it's just the cable and antenna that I need to make it 'prepped', I am confident that I can pull a car apart as well as the dealer can. I have already had the console out, exploring.
Here's my thought: If it just needs the cable and antenna, I will search salvage yards for the parts.

You can't, nreither can the dealer.
It's not like the P2s where you could run the wire
It's integrated into the wiring system now, not a separate wire
I'm afraid you're SOL on this one

WOW...this is really bad news. When I bought the car, the dealer (salesman) said "It doesn't have Sirius, but it will cost you about $500 to install it". Now, to find that it isn't possible...damn. And trust me, he will deny he ever said it!
I hate the plug and play that I am using. The ugly thing looks so 'add on' on my nice dashboard.

It's not just the antenna, there is a software download involved as well.

The dealer confirmed that there is NO WAY that it can be added. It is the ENTIRE wiring harness...not just one/ two wires from the HU rearwards. I can tear apart a car as well as the next guy, but this (according to the dealer) is the ENTIRE spider harness. Oh well. Anyone have any other opinions?

    There is no other suggestion
I said above, after MY 2008 if the car is not SAT prepped from the factory IT CANNOT BE DONE.... PERIOD.
I don't know how long you've had it or if it was from a Volvo dealer but if it was recently bought you need to have a heart to heart with the general manager

On the weekend I purchased an 08, is there an easy way to check to see if the car is prepped for satelite radio?
