    Burned on brake dust?
Not really, but if you use some compound and elbow grease, more will come off
    (Wax afterwards)

Industrial strength degreaser and a medium brush. OEM pads will drive you crazy with dust. Change to organic or semi-metallic to cut the dust.

Some of the more aggressive clays can sometimes make it better, but I've never seen anything get rid of it completely. (Except blasting then repainting...)

Try iron-x gel or sonax wheel cleaner. I always finish up with wheel wax on my wheels. All these products can be found at www.autogeek.net

Ceramic pads will preserve your OE braking performance while creating no black dust. Make your next set of pads Akebono ceramic pads.
