Having just bought my first Volvo ('03 XC70) on the other side of the country, I enjoyed (with a co-driver!) a 3500Km drive over 3 days to bring it home. I'm proud to say that it was a wonderful, comfortable & uneventful trip, so I'm really sold on this great car. The days were:
Day 1: 700Km Melbourne to Renmark, South Australia
Day 2: 1350Km Renmark to Border Village on the SA/WA border
Day 3: 1450Km Border Village to home

Since returning home, I've been able to solve a minor niggle by researching it on this Forum, saving myself both time and money. Thanks for the great information and assistance, everyone!

Sounds like a great trip for 3500Km glad you enjoyed it and solved the 'minor niggle' with some research, it would have been a heck of a long trip to have to have taken the car back to get the problem sorted out!

Meanwhile enjoy the car, I am sure it will continue to give you many more comfortable and safe trips.
