'98 XC70 door lock actuator help!

So I replaced the lock actuator on the passenger door of my '98 XC70. Now when you lock the doors, they all stay locked for about a second then all unlock. If I unhook the new actuator, all of the other doors lock just fine. What gives? I installed the new one just like the old one. I had it working correctly when it wasn't all put back together but the latch for the door was in the wrong position and would not let the door close. When I got the latch back where it should be, the problem arose again.

Check the door lock switches in the window switch panels. Sometimes the bind in the lock or unlock position. Make sure they are in the center [position

Is the new one really a new one?
Where did it come from?
