    Default VIDA Question

If you buy one of these VIDA/DICE units from ebay am I able to access data such as directions on how to r&r a transmission or is that a separate package deal thing that you have to have a contract for?

    Thanks

I'm not sure if VIDA/DICE have how-to, but I know VADIS does.

VIDA has the same information as VADIS in regard to R&R information, just updated to whatever year. That is, 2011D is up-to-date to 2011.

Yes, it does. You'll be suprised how many fault codes are stored without illuminating the CEL. It is powered by the OBDII port so it has to be connected to the vehicle to power on. Don't forget the "crack" that allows you to just enter admin to login.

You might have to hook a buddy up with that crack...
