    How big of wheel and tire package can '01 v70xc take without lifting the car? just want to make it look a little bader

    I wouldn't go much bigger than 27" overall diameter, you'll probably run into some rubbing issues if you go much taller.

    30" 's would really get goin great off road... you could clear redwood logs! just bring your Mothers Power ball!

    I wouldn't go much bigger either, for clearance issues.

    I would get 4 of the exact same tires, brand new preferably. If you get a diameter difference of greater than 3/32" you will wear out the viscous coupling and it's bye-bye AWD...which kinda' defeats the purpose of your mod...
