Noise at Engine Start

Hi, 1-month old 2012 XC70, and I hear a1-2 second noise each time I start, but nothing is heard after that. Goes away very quickly. (Weather is not cold.)

Always hard to describe this sort of thing, but it sounds like fan blades hitting against a shroud. Can't see anything obvious around the rad fan

May not be fan-related at all but that's what it sounds like.

Will take it into the dealer asap, but was curious if anyone has seen (heard) this before?

your car has an electric power steering pump and I think you are hearing it come on. It is not active with key on engine not running normally. It starts with engine start.
