    Default Almost at 90000 miles

My 1998 XC is nearly at 90,000 miles. The service light is on but I'd rather do the servicing myself, rather than drive it 130 miles rt.
What should you do to service the car at this interval?
Obviously an oil change, check fluids, check tires and brakes. What else is essential to ready the car for winter?

    90K is a major
Check and probably do a breather box replacement (complete)
Plugs (if they weren't done at 60K)
    Fuel filter, etc
Check the E brakes for function and rust (probably on their last legs)
You also may want a new thermostat now, before the really cold weather sets in
    Coolant flush
    Brake fluid flush

Now you know a T belt is at 70K on a 98, so hopefully it has been done

Always good to check! When I bought my S70 at 110k it had the original timing belt! I changed it the day I brought the thing home!
