either 2007 or 2008-2009 xc70..which to look at? help pls!

Hi everyone. i'm shoping around for another used car. I came across some of the 2008-2010 xc70's. I was told by a volvo friend to maybe look at 2009 and newer as the '08 was the first year of the new model (with 3.2 engine) and to maybe avoid it. where this indeed bad year?

i also did look at at 2, 2007 model xc70's, as these where the last years of the P2 generation and i think sorted out most of the glitches.

We had a 2005 xc70 and a 2006 V70 in the past, so i'm familiar with the older. P2 models.

The P3 are nicer than the P2 cars.

I have a 2008, puchased in 2009, so 9 years with 165k km / 100k miles
The only real problem was vibration from the engine mounts.
This may not be a problem with the 3.2
My car is diesel so vibration forces are probably more severe than the 3.2L

I would suggest getting a 2010 model if available as there are a few changes that are nicer.
A friend has a 2016 model and it is basically a more refined version of my 2008.
